Challenge

The design challenges around converting this historic chapel and uniting it with the adjoining house had already been skilfully met by the architect & wider design team.

Our job was to work with the contractor and client to facilitate delivery of the architect's vision and assist in the smooth day to day running of the construction phase.

Outcome

Working with any period property is challenging, but converting a building which was never intended to be residential and connecting it to another historic structure comes with its own particular set of demands. Careful sequencing, open communication, good technical awareness and impeccable attention to detail from all parties was the key to delivering this project successfully.
