WHO ARE WE?
Purton Brown Project & Building Consultancy was founded by Claire Purton-Brown in 2018 offering advice, design, and project management services in the world heritage city of Bath and surrounding areas.
With a background in architecture and project management, Claire has spent two decades working on a wide range of projects, from sensitive conservation and refurbishment of listed buildings to construction of bespoke new build properties. This depth of experience has provided the ideal skill set to take charge of projects from conception to completion, supporting clients through what can often be a daunting process.
Her approach is based on working collaboratively with clients, design teams and contractors alike to deliver considered and well designed schemes which meet the needs of the client and offer a high quality finished product which enhances their everyday living.

Depending on the scale of project, we can provide in-house design services or connect you with one of our trusted network of architects to develop and deliver a scheme which truly maximises the potential of your existing home.
We can advise on requirements for planning permissions and building control, make these applications on your behalf and manage the process from start to finish for total peace of mind.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Good management is key to the success of any project, regardless of scale or complexity.
We pride ourselves on offering a high quality service, working collaboratively with clients, design teams and contractors to facilitate the smoothest possible running of a project for all parties involved.
We can work flexibly to suit the needs of the client and demands of the project; offering programming, scheduling and direct liaison with contractors, or providing support and consultancy services to the more experienced client who wants to perform the role of project manager themselves but have the added security of an experienced advisor behind them.
